Del Monte SuperFruit® was recently on the #1 CW news affiliate PIX11 Morning News (NY) as part of a segment on healthy snacks for kids, as recommended by Parenting magazine. Del Monte SuperFruit® Pear Chunks in Açaí Blackberry Juice was prominently displayed on camera, and the hosts described the immunity boosting properties of the product. Several publications have recently honored Del Monte® Fruit Naturals® – and we’re happy to share the news with you! Shape Magazine’s Healthy Snack Awards 2009 has recognized Del Monte Superfruit® Peach Chunks in Pomegranate Orange Juice as one of the Best Snacks at 200 calories or less. And Del Monte SuperFruit® Mixed Fruit Chunks in Mango Passion Fruit Juice was picked Best Fruit Cup in the 3rd Annual fitness magazine Healthy Food Awards. Finally, Del Monte® Fruit Naturals® No Sugar Added Peach Chunks have been named Best Packaged Fruit Snack in the 2009 Diabetic Living Magazine’s What to Eat Awards.

Heart Walk

Del Monte is proud to announce that we’ve raised a total of $89,242.32 for this year’s American Heart Association Heart Walk. This incredible accomplishment puts us at #1 in San Francisco and #6 in the entire California, Nevada and Utah region! This donation will benefit the AHA for the fight against cardiovascular disease and stroke. Thanks to everyone for making this year’s Heart Walk a great success and we look forward to walking with you next year!
